The cottage lived up to our expectations and was well placed for getting to the beach and shopping.

We had a lovely stay and really thought the location of the cottage was spot on.

We enjoyed our stay at this cottage, but we felt it was too small for 4 adults as advertised. The bigger bedroom was fine, but the smaller bedroom was tiny, with the bed (actually a sofa bed) occupying the entire width of the room.
Also there were only 2 dining chairs, though there were 2 metal ones outside which could have come in.
Very central location, so fine for 2 or maybe 3 adults or 2 adults plus 2 children.

smaller than expected but comfortable.

Lovely cottage in beautiful Aldeburgh. Very clean aside from an abundance of pet hair on sofas. Great communication although some confusion on check in and check out times. Cottage in a v convenient location with lovely shops and restaurants nearby. Small but perfect for a short stay.

This was the second visit to the property. The location is ideal, being at the end of the high street, so parking was easy and the pub is next door but 1. We took our dog so it was easy to access the beach front and a short distance to the off lead section of the beach, plenty of places to walk. All 3 restaurants we went to were excellent, our best meal was at the Lighthouse. Its snug, but that a fisherman's cottage... The main bedroom is large but the second one not so much.. All in all my wife and I were comfortable and the dog was happy too...

The house is nice, but very small. It definitely needs an update. The kitchen is not well equipped, the furniture is old, the bathroom is very old and not very clean. It all feels quite loveless.

The Fisherman’s Cottage is a great place to stay. Whether you’ve been to Aldeburgh before or thinking about visiting this lovely seaside town for the first time, this is the place to stay. We’ve stayed at a few holiday properties but this one is in a perfect location. This cosy property provides everything you need & gives the feeling your holiday has really started as soon as you walk in! The terrace at the front provides a great spot for sitting in the sun & watching the world go by. Being in the heart of Aldeburgh everything is at hand. Pubs, restaurants, walks, the beach & much more. The whole booking process was easy & friendly. What more can I say! Would definitely stay again & highly recommend. Thank you Robin.
