Very clear instruction before trip. Great location to visit local towns. Cottage very comfortable & cosy, would highly recommend and we hope to stay again soon.
Great cottage as described and pictured, great communication from Sebastian from booking to leaving. Location perfect, only suggestion would be to have some side plates for toast etc.
A good central location to site see. The house was very comfortable and the garden beautiful.
We had a lovely time on our first family holiday with our 8-month-old. The house had a great mix of comfort and charm. The bean bag chair was super comfy, and we loved the quirky artwork and dining room rope lamp. The kitchen was great to cook in, and the big private garden was perfect for our dog. It’s in a quiet spot but close to lots of beaches. The upstairs felt a bit dated compared to the modern downstairs, and the main living room sofa wasn’t the comfiest, though the second one was better. Parking could be awkward as neighbouring cars were often at odd angles. We forgot our travel cot sheets and were so grateful they had spares, a real lifesaver! The owner did ask to pop by during our stay, which felt a little odd, but they were kind and respected our request for privacy. Overall, a great stay in a peaceful, well-located spot. Thank you!
Lovely cottage. A great location and served as a great base for visiting Southwold, Aldeburgh and other local sites. Check-in was easy and Sebastian's communication was excellent
Our stay at Olive Tree Cottage was pleasant. The reservation process was easy, and we were kept informed with all the details along the way, Sebastin and his team were attentive and made sure we had all the information needed to make our stay comfortable. The back garden is the quintessential "English Garden" - Fantastic bathroom and shower. The kitchen was lovely and well stocked with all the utensils we needed, along with the fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The parking in the front of the house is very tricky to get in and out of due to how the neighbors are parked on the other side of the driveway but we were able to park on the side of the cottage, however, we had a small car so anything like a large car or SUV would not fit.
Excellent and clean cottage in a good location. Great facilities, lovely and clean, plenty of plates etc. Curry house is excellent; didn’t end up trying the pub. Many thanks!
Key wasn’t in lock box when I arrived but was resolved fairly quickly after contacting Sebastian – surprised no milk at cottage for tea on arrival for a cuppa – door to garden was difficult to open and might need some maintenance – There were a few Christmas decorations around which made the cottage festive for my stay I had a very good response to any communication that was required Perfect location to visit Thorpness, Aldeburgh, Southwold, Dunwich
Thank you for your inquiry! We'll be in touch soon.

The property was as described, handy for the coast, with all amenities needed for a great stay, a real home from home. Tastefully decorated, comfortable and clean. Host is very quick in responding and resolving any issues raised. Many footpaths near by for dog walks and the local pub is well worth a visit.
